Placings after league games are completed: In all league grades, from U12-Senior –

Only five (5) subs can join the field of play in semi-finals and finals in any competition and that includes reserve. Championship: There will be extra time played in all juvenile championship games and semi-finals – in the same format as the league above. In the case of Junior, Intermediate and Senior semi-finals, there will be a replay for semi-finals and finals, if at the end of normal time the teams are level.
***IF any club enters a competition and decides to withdraw after the first - round draws have been made, they will incur a fine of 200e*** Fair Play Rule It will include grades
In instances where a club arrives on the field of play with 11 players, less than the 13@side quota, the opposing team will play only 11 players. In instances where a club arrives on the field of play with 13 players, less than the 15@side quota, the opposing team will play only 13 players *But if a club arrives on the field of play with 9 players, less than the 11@side quota, the opposing team will still play11 players, as this is the least you can play, the other team does not have to remove a player from the field of play* In any of the above grades where a team wins the game with less than the minimum number of players, the game still stands as a valid win. **However, in the case of semi-final and Finals the full quota must be presented on the field of play** Competition rules Under age U14 (15 a side) full pitch with full playing rules 30 minutes a half U14 (13 a side) A/B - goals on the 13m line but full width of pitch 25 minutes a half with no square ball and no penalties, just 14m frees. U16 (15 a side) 30 minutes a half and full-size pitch U16 (13 a side) A/B - 25 minutes a half and full-size pitch U18 (15 a side) 30 minutes a half and full-size pitch U18 (13 a side) A/B - 25 minutes and full-size pitch ADULT Reserve ALL-Division (11 a side) 20 minutes a half and full-size pitch Normal rules apply in all other senior games |
Championship
Championship draws of Senior Preliminary Rounds, Intermediate Preliminary Rounds/ Quarter-finals and Junior Quarter-finals will be done at the march delegates meeting, first teams pulled out to have home advantage, up until semi-finals draws are made. Senior League D.1 League games will be played on a single league basis, semi-finals will apply. D.2 League games will be played on a single league basis, semi-finals will apply. D.3 League games will be played on a single league basis, semi-finals will apply. D3 will have a‘fair play rule’ … *Clubs entering a second team, must name their top 12 players for the A team for consideration by the county board at the end of January* Non-County Star Games/Spring League *This is an 11 @ side competition; if any club wishes to enter a second team they must name the full quota of players for the first team ie. 11 players * This competition is for non-county playing players. U18-Minor League competition shall consist of 3 divisions The Teams who win are awarded 3 points for each game and the time of 30 minutes per half Div.1 – 15@side - single league basis, semi-finals will apply - home advantage to the teams on the highest points. Div.2 - 13@sideA - single league basis, semi-finals will apply - home advantage to the teams on the highest points. Div.3 – 13@sideB - single league basis, semi-finals will apply - home advantage to the teams on the highest points. U16 League competition shall consist of 3 divisions The Teams who win are awarded 3 points for each game. U12 Round Robin [League] competition shall consist of 4 Groups All teams are 13@side 2 groups x north and 2 groups x south for Round Robin There will be a minimum of four and a maximum of five games for each team in both Round Robin and League Proper When the Round Robin games are complete, teams will be graded according to their results, these rules will determine the positions of teams i.e. Group 1 and 2 will include teams who have won the most games in the Round Robin series, these 10-12 teams will now be included in an open draw. Similarly, with Group 3 & Group 4 the remaining 10-12 teams will be entered into another open draw. Group.2 - 13@side - single league basis, semi-finals will apply - home advantage to the teams on the highest points. In the case of semi-finalists who are level on points then a toss of a coin will determine home advantage 1st placing of Group 1 will play 2nd of Group 2 in the semi-final for the Cup.A 1st placing of Group 2 will play 2 nd of Group 1 in the semi-final for the Cup.A Third of Group 1 will play 4th of Group 2 in the semi-final for the Shield.A Fourth of Group 1 will play 3rd of Group 2 in the semi-final for the Shield.A Group.3 – 13@side - single league basis, semi-finals will apply - home advantage to the teams on the highest points. Group.4 – 13@side - single league basis, semi-finals will apply - home advantage to the teams on the highest points.
